Our Waiting List is a for the serious people. If you have decided to get an AKC boxer pup from us, you can put a deposit on a pup before it is born. In order to be on the Waiting List, we have to received your deposit. If the litter you are waiting on does not have the pup you are wanting, you can transfer your deposit to another litter as long as you notify us soon after the puppy pictures are posted on the website. If there is a waiting list already on the next litter, you will be placed on that list according to when you had notified us when you were sending a deposit or when you had decided to transfer. If someone has put a deposit down to have "pick of the litter" then you would be place sometime after them. If you have any questions regarding this procedure, please contact us.
Our Waiting List is for serious new puppy owners. We have had too many people that wanted to be on a waiting list, then when it was time for them to pick out, they either changed their minds or couldn't wait and found another pup. Of course, I was not notified that they had canceled out. I had taken the time to contact them, in which sometimes it took me a while to make contact with them, just to find out they had canceled.
If you are interested in our pups and do not want to put a deposit down until you have seen them, that is fine. Please do not ask me to contact you when the pups are born, as I need to be tending to the pups and their mother. I will have it announced on the website that they are born. Please watch the website! The first set of pictures will be posted after they have been checked by my vet which is around 3-4 days old.
Visiting
We are more than happy to have you come and visit us.
But, not when we have a new litter on the ground. Let me explain why. Some mothers can be aggressive when strangers come around because they are protecting their puppies. You are strangers to them. They could get stressed out which her stress can have an affect on her puppies. The pups can get stressed out because mom is stressed. Mom can, from being stressed have a reduction in her milk supply, which of course, will effect the entire litter. You can not see personalities at that age anyway.
The horrible side of someone coming to visit, is what, unknowingly could be brought in. I'm talking about Parvo. Parvo can be deadly. If Parvo is brought in, it will have infected the entire litter. Most likely, most if the litter will died. You might have one or two that may survive, but their immune system will be weaker. During the process of trying to save the lives of the poor puppies, we have an extreme amount of work to kill the Parvo. Parvo can kill future litters also if we missed a spot in our whelping box or kennels, not to mention the ground we walk on. Parvo can be brought in on your shoes and clothing. You wouldn't even know that you were bringing it in because you can't see it. We want to protect our puppies, our moms and dads plus everything we have worked so hard for. This, we strongly feel, that we must prevent for the health and safety of our dogs and puppies. If you have any questions, please contact us.
