Our Sales Policy

Puppies are marked as they are spoken for with "pending" and with the potential buyers initials.
Pups marked with that label, are waiting for the deposit
(5 days maximum, except west coast & Alaska, which could take longer, 7 days).
Once the deposit is received,
the chosen pup will be marked "SOLD".
This is also for the buyer, so they know their deposit
has been received.

All deposits are non-refundable
In the case of illness or death of the chosen puppy,
the deposit is transferable to another available pup or to a later litter owned by the same breeders/kennel.
However, should you change you mind before the pup is 4 weeks old, you can chose one that has not been spoken for. The deposit is transferable.

We reserve the right to decline the sale of a pup after a deposit is received for any reason deemed in our or the puppy's best interest (deposit will be returned in that case).

Our Waiting List

Our "Waiting List" is for serious buyers.

To be placed on the Waiting List,
you must put a full deposit down on a pup.
The deposit still goes along with time frame
as stated in the "Sales Policy".
If the full deposit is not received in the time frame,
you will not be placed on the "Waiting List" until it is received.
You must notify me if there is a delay in sending the deposit.
We are not responsible for any deposits being lost in the mail.

This deposit guarantees you a place on the list.

If you have any further questions or
need to make arrangements, please contact me first.

Very Important Part of the Policy

Due to the number of people requesting that we hold the puppy longer than 8 weeks of age,
we will have to start charging for the care of those puppies.

Let me explain why we are having to do this:
I have been asked several times to hold a puppy
until they are 10 weeks old,
due to the new puppy owners situation.
I have been kind enough to do that,
but then the 10 weeks turns into 12 weeks
 (rabies shots are due then)
and before you know it, the pup is 4 or 5 months old.
Sometimes I was paid for food, but people expected that their
pup would be house broken too and boarding should be free.

Once the pup receives his/her rabies shots,
they are put on heart worm medicines and maybe flea control.
I also continue the use of NuVet Plus
while these pups are still with me.
When keeping a pup longer,
there is also the expense of care for the pup,
 such cleaning the kennel,
feeding, NuVet Plus, watering and handling the pup to keep
him at the socialized status.
This isn't done just once or twice a day either.
This all takes, out of my time, the other things
that I need to do.

I am NOT a boarding kennel.

I've also run into the problem of where to put a pup
that stays longer,
due to the fact that we could have another litter due.
We have had pups that left here at 4-5 months old.
The owner misses out on the bonding and
the puppy fun stages.
So, because of too many people taking advantage of this,
I have decided that, if a pup is staying longer than a shipping date, (shipping is done at 8 weeks old)
that I am charging a boarding fee of $10 per day,
 plus any vet visits and
the gas round trip for me.

Also, if a pup is not picked up by the time the pup is 12 weeks old,
I have the right to resell the pup to a new puppy owner.
If this is the case, there will be
NO REFUNDS
 on the deposit or the purchase price;
as this money will be put toward the expenses of food, vet care, gas for transporting, NuVet Plus and my labor.

I am sorry that I have to do this,
 but too many people
are taking advantage of my kindness
and they ended up ruining it for others.
