This is the option that is HARDEST on the puppy but is okay to do. I will make all the arrangements for the shipping of your puppy. This includes getting a crate that is the right size for the puppy, getting the health certificate from the veterinarian, placing the feeding instructions for the cargo employees on the airplane, attaching "this side up" and "live animal" stickers on the crate and finally, purchasing a ticket in the cargo area for the puppy. This is an $325-$375 extra cost added to the price of the puppy. The airlines recently increased their airfare for the puppies.
During the months that the temperatures are 70° and above, we will have to ship with a different airline in which the rate will increase because of how far we have to travel to ship your puppy during these hot months. This will only apply to the summer months, May 15th to September 15th.
Puppies being shipped to Alaska and/or Hawaii may cost somewhat more.
Another option to shipping would be to fly to this area and take the pup as a carry-on.
Sometimes this works out very well and the cost may be better.
Check with your airlines for their rates and for rates with a carry on.
2nd Option: Meeting at a partway point
This option I am willing to do. I will meet you at a destination that is a reasonable distance from my home. It also has an additional cost added to the price of the puppy because of the price of gas round trip. We can determine the cost when the puppy is booked.
3rd Option: Coming To My Home
This is also a nice option. You can come and see where your puppy grew up. You can also meet the parents and all our boxers! We are proud of our boxers! Come and see us!
