I am NOT here to tell you how to train your pup/dog, but to encourage you to train or get your pup/dog trained. Dog training can be a wonderful experience for you and your dog. Teach your dog what you want him to know, and when he/she learns it well you both will be satisfied. Teach your dog so you will be proud of him. He is there to serve you and be your companion.
In training, do you have his attention
Puppies are like children, you must teach them what they can do and what they can't do. Most dogs are very smart and learn from routine.
Training can be fun too

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

OH, my!! How is this man able to sit next to an adult lion without fear? Training! If man can train a wild lion, then you should be able to train your domestic pup/dog or have someone train him.
